Abstract:
This book analyses the work of Spanish visual artists in dance between 1916 and 1962, divided into three periods: the Silver Age, the Spanish Civil War, and exile in 1939. It therefore gives an account of a rich and brilliant production that emphasised the work of interdisciplinary creative networks, based on an exchange between the visual arts and performing arts, and which also provided a platform for the dissemination of Spanish art of modernity and vanguard internationally in the twentieth century.
