Abstract:

One of the CSIC’s functions is to inform, assist and advise public and private entities on science and technology, as stated in article 5 of its Articles of Association. As part of this function, the report Artificial intelligence: transforming the management of public policies and public good in the digital age is presented as a document aimed at administrations and society in general. It explains how the evolution and potential impact of this technology on our society renders it a tool for effective integration into the design of public policies. It also includes some of the most outstanding lines of innovation being implemented by the CSIC in terms of the potential use of artificial intelligence in the management of policies in various fields such as education, welfare, social action and sustainability.
