Abstract:

Teoría de la revolución. Sistema e historia is divided into two parts. The first part, comprising the first four chapters, deals with the issue of the origin of revolutions, their types, the characterisation of post-revolutionary law, and how the occurrence of a revolution affects the legal order. The fifth chapter forms the second part and deals with the right of resistance in the ancient world, Christianity, the Reformation, revolutionary England, the Enlightenment and the French Revolution.
