Abstract:

Sonia Thon has undertaken a study of the narrative works of Margarita Nelken, a cultivated and cosmopolitan Spanish lady, who managed to make her mark in a society full of prejudices, which among other things, despised Jews, working women, writers, single mothers and left-wing militants; all categories to which she belonged. Through eight novellas, this book demonstrates her literary talents as a writer.
