Abstract:

After a short analysis of the environment factors peculiar to the study región (physiography, climatology and substratum types), a floristic catalogue of the Duratón basin is developped with 1,762 species and subspecies collected by us. When we the catalogue was made, critical comments for several taxa were carried out, specially from a chorological point of view, emphasizing the interest phytogeographical of a lot findings and making distribution maps when there were enough data and the interest of the taxa was advisable. At the same time several nomencatural, morphological, of taxonomical treatment, ecological aspects are commented on some difficult taxa. The first record of Inula bifrons for the Iberian Península stands out among the chorological findings. It is also commented on the presence of plants whose finding represented the first locality known for the Duero basin and Sistema Central: Hupercia selago, Salix arenaria, Genista sagittalis, Seseli peucedanoides, Hohenackeria polyodon, Peucedanum carvifolia, Vaccinium uliginosum, Swertia perennis, Galium minutulum, Valerianella martinii, Cirsium echinatum, Puccinellia pungens, etc. Starting from the floristic catalogue, some biogeographical considerations are made, pointing out the cross-way position of the Duratón basin, whose región receives taxa from three probable migratory routes, the Pyrenean-Orocantabric región, the eastern part of the Iberian Península and the "Carpetano-Leones" área. Finally, a summary of the vegetation in the área is exposed the main vegetable formations along the Duratón basin are commented briefly.
